Services Provided

The main services provided by  the Exhibitions Research Institute are:

Recording and Analysis of Exhibition Activity

In these studies, exhibition activity is recorded either by geographical area (e.g. country, region, county etc.), or by economic sphere (e.g. exhibitions in the field of foodstuffs). Recording takes place on two levels, that of infrastructure (Exhibition Centres) but also on the level of events (Exhibitions). These studies concern public organisations such as Ministries, Regions, Counties etc. with an interest in the development of exhibition activity, as well as private Exhibition Organisers, who through these studies can read the external environment  of the Exhibitions sector, ascertaining its competitiveness.

Research-Study of the Exhibitions Market for businesses and agencies

The Exhibitions Research Institute undertakes research, on behalf of businesses in all sectors, but also for other agencies, into the Greek and international Exhibition market, in order to pinpoint the Exhibition Event which is appropriate and advisable for the business or agency in question. Via reliable databases, the ERI seeks out the exhibition best suited not only to the profile of the company or agency, but also to its aims in participating in Exhibitions.

Event Certification (Auditing)

For the evaluation and certification of the quality of an event it is necessary to hold to fixed unchanging rules in the extraction of numerical and qualitative data regarding Exhibitors, Visitors, and premises and their layout. For the Exhibitor or Visitor, it is essential to know that the facts that are available on an Exhibition Event are reliable, by long-term comparison with every other corresponding exhibition and with whatever arises from the use of standard research tools, in order to be able to take the correct decisions as to participation. For the Organiser, the quality control study constitutes a valuable quantitative and qualitative regulating instrument, useful both for the attraction of Exhibitors and Visitors, and for the continuous improvement and development of the organised event. Thus the ERI designs event certification studies (Auditing) and has developed a methodology for these studies, taking advantage of international experience.

Education of Business Executives

The ERI organises seminars entitled ‘Effective Organisation of Exhibition Participation'. The basic aim of these seminars is the education of participants in correct preparation for and effective participation in exhibitions. This instruction takes place with the use of simple instruments of contemporary methodology which can provide important assistance to a business in maximising the advantages of its participation in an Exhibition.
