Research-Study of the Exhibition Market for businesses and agencies

On behalf of businesses in all fields, the Exhibitions Research Institute undertakes the investigation of the Greek and international Exhibitions Market with a view to ascertaining the most appropriate and advisable Exhibition Event for the Business in question.

In the context of these studies, contact is first made with the client in order to record their aims and their company profile. The recording of the aims of the client includes the general targets of the business along with those targets which are set by the exhibition activity. At this stage of our contact with the client we also record the company profile, and in particular:

  • basic details
  • main business activity
  • main products / services
  • products / services promoted through this exhibition activity
  • existing means of advertising and promotion
  • orientation (internal market and exports)
  • countries of business activity (foreign market)
  • regions of business activity (home market)
  • target-countries for development of business activity (foreign market)
  • target-regions for development of business activity (internal market)

In the recording of the aims of the business and its company profile, a clear picture emerges of which exhibition market it would best serve the interests of the company to turn towards, and this determines the framework of the research.

Following this, and after determination of the geographical or sector area of the exhibitions market which interests the company, the ERI, by means of reliable databases, seeks the most appropriate Exhibition corresponding to the profile of the company, and its objectives in participating in exhibitions. Thus there is an examination of the statistical data of each Exhibition (number of exhibitors, visitors etc.), the range of exhibits, the type of visitors, along with any other available detail that assists in a better approach to the Exhibition.

From the above analysis a report is drawn up in which all the data are described, and significant suggestions are made.
